Your key responsibilities

1. Research and share knowledge on the newest security vulnerabilities; participate in security conferences and publish thought leadership.
2. Assist in delivering vulnerability management services and develop the firm’s vulnerability management offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

1. Develop rapport and deliver quality client services.
2. Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
3. Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability management programs.
4. Perform vulnerability assessments and control evaluations.
5. Familiarity with security standards like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, and tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable.
6. Operational experience with vulnerability management tools and patch management solutions.
7. Ability to evaluate tools, conduct root cause analysis, and assess exploitability and impact risks.
8. Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including privacy, incident response, governance, and architecture.
9. Assist in cybersecurity project management and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 6+ years of experience or a master’s degree with 5+ years.
2. CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
3. Experience with vulnerability management lifecycle, security standards, and operational tools.
4. Knowledge of OS, cloud concepts, networking, and scripting (optional).
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior management.
6. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Additional preferred experience

• Consulting background, OT environment experience, cloud/container expertise, penetration testing, application security, scripting, regulatory experience, attack surface management.
