Job summary

North Highland in the United States seeks experienced Management Consultants for its Public Sector team. You will lead a team of consultants, partner with public sector clients, and deliver innovative solutions that drive measurable improvements in efficiency and service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in management consulting, MES/MMIS/IES familiarity, and a track record in proposal development and account growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management consulting, advisory services, or Big 4 experience.
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), MMIS modernization, and Integrated Eligibility (IES).
• Experience with APD, business case, and feasibility study development.
• Experience developing public sector HHS procurements including requirements, market scans, and RFP support.
• Knowledge of CMS compliance, MITA framework, and federal Medicaid policy.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior client executives and growth accounts.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to join our Public Sector Consulting team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage a team of consultants, working closely with public sector clients to deliver innovative solutions and drive impactful results. Your expertise will help shape the future of public services, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence in every project.

YOU WILL:

• Guide teams in the development of impactful deliverables for multiple work streams that create long-term change for some of the world's most exciting brands.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders that support ongoing projects and open the door to growth opportunities.
• Identify the complex problems facing our clients and build plans that creatively address their challenges.
• Put your team's best ideas into action through planning and management; uncover gaps and omissions that may exist in a plan or deliverables.
• Shape the firm's future by identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Play a central role in your team’s growth through coaching and constructive review of ongoing engagements.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

• 5+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), MMIS modernization and Integrated Eligibility (IES) systems.
• Experience with Advance Planning Document (APD), business case, and/or feasibility study development.
• Experience with developing public sector HHS procurements including requirements development, market scans, supporting RFP issuance.
• Experience with CMS compliance, MITA framework, and federal Medicaid policy.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge in Project Management and the ability to establish credibility with clients, create value, and deliver desired business outcomes at scale through its practice.
• Experience developing proposals that successfully drive clients to choose a business solution.
• A demonstrated track record supporting large, complex consulting engagements, with roles that involve building and fostering relationships with senior-level client executives.
• Demonstrated success managing teams while fostering high performance.
• Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• A master's degree and/or professional certifications are bonuses.
