Job summary

Sendero is seeking an Analyst in Houston to lead project workstreams, facilitate client discussions, and deliver impactful solutions by applying industry and technical knowledge. This role focuses on collaborating with clients to define business requirements, analyze problems, and drive actionable outcomes.

Based in Houston, the position involves on-site work with 4 days per week likely on client projects or Sendero offices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of management consulting experience.
  • Supervisory and team-leading experience on consulting projects.
  • Ability to work with clients to define business requirements and analyze problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Critical thinking to solve complex business problems.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Visio.
  • Proactive in delivering value and keeping commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve project expectations and meet assigned deadlines with general guidance from Sendero consulting manager.
  • Perform or oversee completion of tasks including analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of systems.
  • Identify, analyze, recommend, and deliver solutions for stakeholders' business problems.
  • Lead teams and supervise effectively.
  • Apply industry, business and technical knowledge to achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain professional and personal relationships while growing network.
  • Facilitate meetings and build knowledge capital.
  • Build and share knowledge and skills quickly to deliver on client commitments.
  • Participate in recruiting activities and provide input into hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to and lead internal projects and work groups.

As an Analyst at Sendero, you’ll lead project workstreams, facilitate meeting discussions, and collaborate with clients to design and deliver impactful solutions while applying industry and technical knowledge.

This role is based in Houston, Texas. Work arrangements are determined on a client and project basis and will likely vary over time depending on client needs. Expect to work a minimum of four days on-site per week with your team at the client or Sendero office.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Minimum of 2 years of management consulting work experience
  • Supervisory and team lead experience on consulting projects
  • Proven ability to work with clients to define business requirements and analyze problems
  • Proven ability to communicate (written and verbal) and build relationships with consulting clients and team members
  • Proven ability to think critically and solve complex business problems
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office product suite including Visio
  • Passion for proactively delivering value and keeping commitments
