Job summary

VTG in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Management Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to Project Managers and Directors on government contracts. You will analyze program data, EVM metrics, and cost/schedule information to drive informed decisions and improve contract performance.

Working with Finance, Contracts, Accounting, and Program Management, you will ensure data is accurate, aligned, and actionable, enabling effective management reviews and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 4–7+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Project and Program Managers with day-to-day analytical and operational aspects of managing Government contracts.
• Analyze program data and develop flat files, reports, and analytical tools to support program execution and management decision-making.
• Perform system analysis and data validation to ensure information is accurate, consistent, and aligned across systems.
• Support EVM activities, including analysis of planned value, earned value, actual costs, variances, performance trends, and corrective actions.
• Assist PMs with monthly program reviews, forecasting, EAC/ETC development, and variance analysis.

Overview VTG is seeking a Management Analyst to support our Virginia Beach, VA office. What will you do? The Management Analyst provides analytical and operational support to Project Managers and Directors in the execution of Government contracts. The position analyzes program data, operational performance, cost and schedule information, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to provide PMs with the information needed to effectively manage contract performance. The analyst works closely with Finance, Contracts, Accounting, and Program Management to ensure program data is accurate, aligned, and actionable.

• Support Project and Program Managers with the day-to-day analytical and operational aspects of managing Government contracts.
• Analyze program data and develop flat files, reports, and analytical tools to support program execution and management decision-making.
• Perform system analysis and data validation, ensuring information across program and business systems is accurate, consistent, and aligned.
• Support EVM activities, including analysis of planned value, earned value, actual costs, variances, performance trends, and corrective actions.
• Assist PMs with monthly program reviews, forecasting, EAC/ETC development, and variance analysis. Do you have what it takes?
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Four (4) - Seven (7) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $75,000-90,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
