Overview

VTG is seeking a Management Analyst III to provide acquisition program support and in-service logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-275 V-22 Osprey Joint Program. Specifically, provide integrated logistics support to the V-22 Weapon System Program Manager at Defense Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia.

What will you do?
  • Mid-level Management Analyst supports Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for Integrated Product Support areas of aviation supply planning, to include DLA consumables status.
  • Supports DLA personnel performing various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
  • Supports working on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program planning and status; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis.
  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or supply data and information.
  • Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or supply data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Education: BS or BA degree.
  • Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
  • (10) years of experience in integrated ILS or Maintenance activity of aeronautical weapon systems acquisition programs. At least one (1) year of defense acquisition management experience must have been obtained within the last five (5) years.
  • Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required and may include telework flexibility
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team participation skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the Defense Supply Center's V-22 support mission.
  • Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) Defense Logistics Agency organization, roles and responsibilities; b) Critical Parts Review, and Supply Support Working Groups; c) Weapon System Designator Code information, SAP, FED-Mall, WEBCATS, FEDLOG and WEBVLIPS.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay $120,000-$165,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
