Job summary

The Nevada Health Authority, Division of Health Care Purchasing and Compliance, Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) is recruiting a Management Analyst 1 in Reno. This role provides data processing and analysis for state vendor contracts, develops monitoring processes for compliance, and prepares incident reports.

The incumbent interprets legal documents and prepares audit responses, statistics, and corrective action recommendations.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of applicable experience as described in the job duties and graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • Research and analysis techniques and methodologies; management and administration concepts, principles, and practices; evaluating, developing, and recommending administrative and/or operational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to compose business correspondence and reports; analyze information, problems, or practices to identify relevant concerns, identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships, and formulate logical conclusions.

Job Summary

The Nevada Health Authority, Division of Health Care Purchasing and Compliance, Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) is recruiting to fill a Management Analyst 1 position in Reno. This position is located within the Program Integrity, Provider Enrollment Unit, under the supervision of a Social Services Program Specialist III. This position provides data processing and analysis for multiple State vendor contracts, develop monitoring processes to determine contract and federal and/or state compliance, complete incident reports, and maintain procedures, forms and manuals. The position is responsible for researching, analyzing, and preparing reports on a monthly and as needed basis. The incumbent must have the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to interpret legal documents, contracts, and complex state and federal regulations and prepare audit responses, statistics, and corrective action recommendations.

Management Analysts conduct studies, research, and examination of management and administrative areas such as agency operations, forms, policies and procedures, workflow, legislative analysis, management research, and statistical and informational analysis.

Essential Qualifications
