Job description

Performs a wide variety of administrative tasks in support of a Government MQ-9 detachment office.Detachment 3 is looking for a well-organized candidate who will manage tasking/suspense from multipledepartments, including but not limited to higher Chain of Command, leadership division office, andEdwards AFB.

Essential Functions

  • Provide administrative assistance in the management and processing of all personnel in and outprocessing, initialization of each individual record, and tracking of records including but not limitedto enlisted evaluation reports, officer evaluation reports, mandatory training, deploymentpreparation, promotion tests, and Physical Training (PT) tests.
  • Creates and maintains rosters for all personnel.
  • Assist the Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) for all Det 3 military personnel, including but notlimited to, coordinating with the Edwards AFB Personnel Readiness section on mobility trainingand all deployment requirements set out by the Directorate Aerospace Expeditionary Force(AEF).
  • Assist the Government in performing/coordinating drug testing administrative activities for the Det3 military and civilian personnel, including notification and paperwork accomplishment for thosetesting IAW AFI 44-120 Military Drug Demand Reduction Program.
  • Manage the Education Training Management System (ETMS) requirements for all military andcivilian personnel in Det 3, including, but not limited to, coordinating with the home office andDirectorate training manager to ensure training suspense(s) are met, progress is monitored, and100% compliance is achieved.
  • Assist the Government in monitoring and providing updates regarding unit leave balances for Det3 personnel, provide validation support, and monitor the Leave Web. Coordinate with the financeand accounting office for the unit compliance inspection on leave monitoring.
  • Assist the Government in monitoring the personnel records of military and civilian personnel andprovide recommendations relating to issues, concerns, and next steps to the Government forconsideration.
  • Facilitate the Newcomer Orientation briefings for Det 3 by providing advisory and draftdocumentation support for the AFLCMC/WIIQ organizational briefing, and by coordinating andorganizing the presentation for the newcomers.
  • Monitor the weekly senior staff meeting and operations staff meeting and providerecommendations for updates to the AFLCMC/WII Program Integration Branch.
  • Coordinate VIP visitors by planning, organizing, and coordinating the itinerary, including but notlimited to the briefing and familiarization tour for both General Atomics and the Det 3 operatinglocation.
  • Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the Medium Altitude UAS Division ProgramManagement Reviews and Executive Management Reviews by coordinating with the leadershipdivision office and General Atomics location, agenda, briefings, and other support functionsassociated with the reviews.

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range

$89,000 - $98,000 USD
