Job summary

Our client, a Connecticut based hedge fund, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their growing team. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, compensation accounting, and 1099 filings in a fast-paced financial environment.

3–8 years of accounting experience in financial services or related sectors is preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA is a plus but not required. Location is Connecticut, with a strong reputation and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required or highly preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 3-8 years of accounting experience, ideally in financial services, crypto, or venture capital.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger and banking activity.
