The Managed Security Director (Security Overlay) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth, technical alignment, and market positioning for the SOCaaS/MDR/XDR portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Solutions Engineering, this role acts as a revenue catalyst and technical advocate, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to increase adoption and foster innovation in a competitive cybersecurity landscape. The ideal candidate is a seasoned cybersecurity engineering expert capable of translating technical expertise into market strategies and partner enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive strategic growth and market positioning for the SOCaaS/MDR/XDR portfolio, focusing on security revenue targets.
2. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align on feature development and prioritize roadmaps.
3. Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and sales materials to build trust with customers.
4. Lead co-selling efforts with TSD and partner channels, ensuring revenue impact and partner alignment.
5. Implement partner education, sales enablement, and awareness campaigns to boost platform adoption.
6. Build and maintain strategic relationships internally and externally, championing security initiatives.
7. Serve as a cybersecurity evangelist through webinars, social media, and public engagements to enhance market presence.
8. Influence detection strategies and product enhancements via ongoing engagement with Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on SOCaaS/MDR/XDR solutions.
• Proven success in driving growth through strategic sales and technical advocacy.
• Experience in creating impactful technical presentations and sales collateral.
• Success in partner enablement and market evangelism.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape.

We hire individuals across various regions; pay ranges reflect regional labor costs. The listed salary range is based on geographic location, skill set, experience, and qualifications.

Compensation: Includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $175,000+.

The pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $160,000 USD per year (Remote, United States).
