Job summary

Cardinal Health in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a Coordinator, Managed Care, Credentialing to ensure active credentialing/enrollment with all contracted payors for all groups and providers, and to keep licensure updated and active.

The role requires coordinating credentialing activities, maintaining licenses, and supporting hospital privileging processes. Strong collaboration, accuracy, and knowledge of credentialing databases are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of credentialing or payer enrollment experience in managed care or provider setting.
• Knowledge of the payer environment and payer issues.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• College degree or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Experience with credentialing databases (IntelliCred, E-Vips, Vistar, Cactus, Symed).

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and hospital privileging in the credentialing platform.
• Maintain and monitor licenses and certifications to ensure compliance across regions.
• Attend training and adapt to new workflows and processes within set timeframes.
• Coordinate provider enrollment activities for all groups and providers.
• Ensure facility and provider licenses and certifications are current and in good standing.
• Prepare forms and documents for hospital privileges when required.
• Meet all reporting deadlines and provide status updates to management.
• Collaborate with supervisor and peers on complex problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
