Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, economics, data science, or a related field is preferred.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in healthcare, or finance with 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting may be considered.
• In lieu of a degree; a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, managed care, financial analysis, or a similar field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• One year of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates without experience must have completed a healthcare- or finance-related internship with strong references or possess a significant managed care or analytical background.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, managed care operations, CPT, DRGs, ICD-10, and hospital and physician billing is preferred.
• Advanced Excel, intermediate Word and PowerPoint, analytical ability, adaptability to new software, and strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• The incumbent should achieve basic proficiency within three months.
