Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, NC seeks a healthcare analytics/financial analysis professional to support hospital operations and strategic planning. A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, economics, data science, or related field is preferred; an Associate’s with 2–3 years hospital experience may be considered.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in healthcare analytics or managed care is acceptable.

Work Experience: One year of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates without experience must have completed a healthcare- or finance-related internship with strong references or possess a significant managed care or analytical background. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, managed care operations, CPT, DRGs, ICD-10, and hospital and physician billing is preferred. Advanced Excel, intermediate Word and PowerPoint, analytical ability, adaptability to new software, and strong communication and customer service skills are required. The incumbent should achieve basic proficiency within three months.
