Job summary

Grand Welcome Mammoth Lakes, CA Franchise is hiring a Maintenance Technician / Vacation Rental Property Inspector in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and ensuring guest-ready homes.

You will work with a team across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall systems, using various tools to keep properties in top condition. This position is part-time with pay $24–$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of maintenance, handyman, hospitality, or property care experience.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift, bend, and climb ladders.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours as needed.
Live within 30 minutes driving of Mammoth Lakes, CA.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-arrival inspections to ensure homes meet quality standards before guest check-in.
Identify and resolve maintenance issues to ensure guest-ready homes.
Handle minor repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment and appliances.
Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and engage in problem-solving to improve guest experiences.
Utilize power and plumbing tools for repairs and installations.
Troubleshoot common household systems and equipment.
Collaborate with team members and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
