As the Mammoth Hot Springs Housing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of employee dormitories, manage housing staff, enforce policies, optimize bed usage, ensure fair room assignments, and foster community building to provide seasonal employees with exceptional living experiences.

The Details:

  • Position Type: Seasonal
  • Season Dates: 6/4/2025 - 3/7/2026
  • Pay: $1,740 bi-weekly
  • Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week, 5 days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop Housing Coordinator, Residence Coordinators, and Dorm Custodians
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment and plan dorm/community events
  • Guide staff in setting expectations, community building, and addressing infractions
  • Supervise staff, create schedules, conduct meetings, and monitor performance
  • Ensure residence facilities are prepared, maintained, and cleaned to high standards
  • Manage quarantine procedures and health reporting
  • Assign housing equitably based on seniority and preferences
  • Coordinate dorm opening/closing to maximize occupancy
  • Work with HR and Operations to resolve employee issues
  • Maintain personnel files and administrative records
  • Manage budgets, payroll, and supplies
  • Respond promptly to requests from employees, operations, and HR
  • Oversee onsite employee RV sites and enforce policies
Qualifications
  • Experience in housing management or similar preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Leadership, decision-making, delegation, and communication skills
  • Office organization and basic business skills
  • Knowledge of data systems
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 25 pounds, shovel snow
  • Walk or stand for 30+ minutes, up to one mile
  • Kneel or lie down for inspections
  • Climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain
  • Sit for extended periods
