Job summary

ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our on-site team. You will perform all mammographic procedures, apply patient care best practices, and ensure compliance with QA records and credentialing requirements.

This role emphasizes accurate imaging, radiation safety with ALARA principles, and collaboration with radiology staff. We offer competitive compensation, a balanced outpatient schedule with no on-call shifts, and opportunities for modality

Qualifications

Graduate of AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
ARRT-certified and TX Medical Board licensed.
Ability to work efficiently with clinical staff and patients.
Adheres to Radiology Partners policies including HIPAA/OSHA.

Responsibilities

Performs all mammographic procedures according to the Department Procedure Manual.
Applies patient care and recognizes conditions essential for successful radiologic procedures.
Maintains QA records/controls required by ACR, the State and credentialing bodies.
Identifies proper anatomical orientation on images and assures proper identification.
Practices radiation safety applying AARA principles.

Position Summary

Performs all mammographic procedures, according to the Department Procedure Manual.
Appliesappropriate patientcare and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the radiologic procedure.
Performs and maintains all quality assurance records/controls required by ACR,the Stateand any other credentialing organizations as required by law.
Identifiesproper anatomical orientation on all required images and assures proper identificationonall images.
Practices radiation safety by applying AARA (As LowAsReasonably Achievable)principals.

Desired Professional Skills And Experience

Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).State certification by the Texas Medical Board (T.M.B.)
Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.
Adheres to all RadiologyPartners policies and procedures, including compliance, HIPAA, OSHA, licensing, and accreditation guidelines.
Demonstrates a results orientation for deliveringappropriate productsand services inan accurate,complete,andtimelyfashion.
