Job summary

University Radiology is seeking a temporary full-time Mammography Technologist at our Neptune, NJ Imaging Office. The Mammo Tech will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, conduct quality control, and support scheduling and daily room upkeep.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with 1 Saturday per month; adherence to safety protocols is required and NJ licensure along with ARRT and CPR credentials are mandatory.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• NJ State License and CPR certification.
• 2+ years of current diagnostic 3D mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and quality control.
• Assist in daily workflow and ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain room readiness, stock supplies, and support scheduling.

Overview

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is looking for a Temporary Full Time Mammography Technologist for ourNeptune, NJ Imaging Office. The Mammo Tech will perform screening/diagnostic mammograms, quality control, productively checking schedules for potential problems as well as day to day routine cleaning/stocking rooms.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, 1 Saturday/month

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Pay Range:

From $40/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs
