Job summary

University Radiology is seeking a Per Diem Mammo/X-Ray/Dexa Technologist to join our Somerset, NJ team for October 2026. You will perform high quality diagnostic imaging in collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The position requires ARRT certification and NJ license, 2+ years mammography experience, CPR, and the ability to work evenings and weekend shifts. Possibility to grow with a leading subspecialty radiology network.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• NJ State License and CPR certification required.
• 2+ years current diagnostic 3D mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.
• Adhere to department safety protocols and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.

Overview

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is looking forPer DiemMammo/X-Ray/Dexa Technologistsfor our Somerset, NJ in October 2026. As a PDMammo Technologistsyou will be relied upon to produce high quality diagnostic images. You will be collaboratingwith our radiologists and clinical teams in order to provide outstanding patient care which is University Radiology's top priority.

Tues, Thurs 4:30-8pm and Sat 7:30-1pm

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and mustbe able toadhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Pay Range:

From $45/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs
