Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams, screenings and diagnostic studies at Einstein Center One in Northeast Philadelphia and at the Elkins Park site.

You will deliver patient care before, during, and after imaging, ensure proper patient positioning, operate equipment, follow radiation safety standards and maintain documentation, while supporting ongoing education and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Specialized diploma or ARRT Radiology certification required.
• Knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques for breast assessment.
• Ability to prepare patients and monitor reactions during imaging.
• Mammo-specific training: 40+ hours and digital mammography.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Technologist Radiology (RT) by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment and perform screening and diagnostic exams.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and exposure factors.
• Protect staff and patients under radiation safety standards.
• Document patient services and maintain records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Support quality assurance activities and continuing education.
