Description


The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required.

Required Qualifications:



  • Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. Or equivalent educ/experience.

  • Education and training as determined by the radiologist.

  • Upon hire: California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification.

  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.

  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Experience as a Radiology Technologist; 2 years preferred.
