Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform diagnostic mammograms and ensure image quality. You will program the mammography machine, maintain safety standards and document QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA.

Applicants must have ARRT certification in Mammography within 2 years of hire, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
• 2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position required.
• 1 year experience in Mammography preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (M) license required.
• Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma.
• Prepares, maintains and operates mammography equipment following radiation safety guidelines.
• Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA.
