Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora seeks a Mammography Technologist PRN to operate the mammography unit and produce diagnostic-quality breast images under the direction of a physician.

The role involves explaining procedures, positioning, and ensuring patient comfort, while maintaining high standards of care and safety. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with clinical rotation or 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate accredited school of medical radiography.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT Mammography registry required; BLS required.
• Clinical rotation or 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mammography unit to produce breast images for diagnostic purposes under physician direction.
• Explain the procedure to patients and position the breast accordingly.
• Maintain technical and patient-care skills to provide quality diagnostic results.
