Job summary

Parkridge East Hospital in Tennessee is seeking a Mammography Technologist PRN to perform radiologic procedures aligned with board, facility and national standards while supporting women’s imaging services.

The role requires ARRT Mammography credential, 1–2 years of Mammo experience, and Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date; you’ll promote patient service and document in PACS within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date.
• 1–2 years of experience in Mammo preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in performing women’s imaging exams with basic departmental functions and goals.

What you will do in this role:

• As Mammographer or Mammo Tech, you will perform radiologic procedures to the board, facility and national standards.
• You will promote customer service initiatives.
• In this role, you will provide continuous observation of telemetry monitors.
• You will document notes in PACS

What qualifications you will need:

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date
• 1-2 years of experience in Mammo preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
