Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to support physicians with accurate diagnostic data.
The role requires completing an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT-Mammography and ARRT-Radiography certifications, plus BLS. You will evaluate images, post-process, and assist radiologists while maintaining ALARA safety practices and high patient service standards.
Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to support physicians with accurate diagnostic data.
Responsibilities: Execute high-quality Breast and Bone Density imaging while following safety protocols and ALARA principles to minimize exposure. Evaluate images for technical quality, perform post-processing, and ensure proper patient identification. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, ensuring patient safety and responding appropriately to emergencies. Assist radiologists with procedures and adhere to all health system policies and standards.
Qualifications: Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography certifications, and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years in Diagnostic Radiography/X-Ray or 1 year in Breast imaging. Strong communication skills, ability to operate radiographic and breast imaging equipment, and excellent patient service skills. Knowledge of mammography positioning techniques is preferred.
