Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or certification program in Radiologic Technology.
• 6 months to 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience.
• ARRT (RTR) certification or eligible; pass mammography cert within 12 months of training.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and ancillary radiographic tools; performs routine and special mammography procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and quality control; ensures proper labeling and data recording.
• Schedules procedures, provides patient preparation instructions, and retrieves information from MIS.
