Qualifications

• One year of radiologic technologist experience.
• TX radiographer certification.
• BLS - American Heart Association.
• ARRT Radiography certification.
• ARRT Mammography certification.

Responsibilities

• Selects and adjusts patient positioning for mammography and related procedures.
• Educates patients undergoing mammography.
• Performs quality control of radiographic equipment, screens, and processing; documents actions.
• Assists radiologists during invasive procedures and correlates biopsy results with pathology.
• Coordinates with operating room, scheduling, and staff for invasive breast procedures.
• Maintains supplies in mammography rooms and orders new stock as needed.
