CHI Health Midlands in Omaha is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion.

You will operate equipment, position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health. A current mammography certification and strong technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program, upon hire.
• Radiologic Technologist (NE licensure) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Mammography within 24 months.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient and explain procedure, obtain informed consent, assist physician with procedures.
• Select equipment and settings, gather supplies, follow radiation safety protocols.
• Record patient history and data for interpretation and future encounters.
• Perform quality assessment of images and report equipment issues to supervisor.
• Ensure equipment readiness and conduct required quality tests including ACR requirements.
• Report incidents or equipment failures using the CHI system.
