Our facility includes a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics across 27 rural communities, offering primary and specialty care services. Performs specialized examinations of the breast to assist in diagnosing and treating breast diseases. Operates specialized equipment, performs all required procedures, and provides clinical care with technical and decision-making skills.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Required)
• Experience as a Mammography Technologist (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications:

• Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist (Required in CA)
• ARRT-R (Required), ARRT-M (Required in OR, Preferred in CA and HI)
• BLS or equivalent (Required)
• Fluoroscopy license (Preferred in CA)
• Venipuncture certification (Preferred in CA)

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT) (Required)

Essential Functions

• Educates patients, promotes privacy and comfort, and follows infection control guidelines.
• Performs diagnostic or screening mammograms, assists radiologists, produces high-quality films, and documents procedures.
• Gathers patient information and provides preparation instructions.
• Raises questions or issues to senior staff as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Organizational Requirements

All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with exemptions possible. Participation in E-Verify is required.
