Atlantic Imaging Services is seeking a per diem Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic, Dexa, and planar X-ray procedures in accordance with state and MQSA standards. The role requires NJ RT licensure, ARRT Mammography certification, and current BLS.

The candidate will review requisitions, ensure accurate patient data, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation. Prioritization, QA, and proper billing procedures are essential.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in an accredited RT program or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a staff technologist in Mammography or relevant area.
• NJ State RT license.
• ARRT Mammography Certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs mammographic, Dexa and planar X-ray procedures.

• Ensures high standard of accuracy in positioning and selects appropriate technical factors.
• Assembles and reviews patient data, history, and two patient identifiers.
• Verifies physician orders and ensures information for radiologist’s interpretation is available.
• Performs patient charging and completes exam end procedures in EPIC/Centricity PACS.
• Utilizes PenRad system and maintains QA and MQSA compliance.
• Maintains age-appropriate patient communication and teamwork with site leadership.

Atlantic Imaging Services is seeking a per diem Mammography Technologist.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Performs mammographic, Dexa and planar Xray procedures on patients according to state, federal, professional and departmental standards and guidelines.
2. Reviews each requisition/questionnaire and record prior to the exam to ensure all pertinent information is available.
3. Performs examinations with a high standard of accuracy in positioning. Select appropriate technical factors to ensure quality images.
4. Assembles and reviews patient data, history, proper two patient identifiers.
5. Verifies physician orders and ensures information for radiologist’s interpretation is available (outside images, reports etc.).
6. Perform all computer functions properly to ensure proper patient charging and image interpretation.
7. Performs patient charging and completes exam end procedures in and EPIC/Centricity PACS.
8. Proper utilization of the PenRad system.
9. Accurately and effectively performs QA, maintain required annual licensure/CME and responsible to assist in all aspect of tracking as per MQSA guidelines.
10. Able to access, interpret, communicate and deliver age-appropriate care.
11. Maintains open communication with site leadership.
12. Contributes to the team and works cooperatively with peers.
13. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and prioritize.
14. Seeks pro-active solutions to address questions concerns.
15. And any other task as appointed by management.

Required:
