Job summary

Banner Imaging at Verrado Imaging Center in Buckeye, AZ, is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform prescribed procedures and produce high-quality images for timely interpretation. The role requires ARRT certification with state licensure as applicable, BLS, and advance mammography certification within 18 months of hire; this is a full-time, day-shift

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT national certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Advanced Mammography certification required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment.
• Produces high quality images and maintains accurate documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements and troubleshoots issues.
• Maintains confidentiality and upholds ethical and professional responsibilities.
• Ensures efficient department workflow and manages supplies to avoid service interruptions.
• Performs procedures independently in accordance with policies.
