Job summary

Banner Imaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and to help with QC and biopsy procedures. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS.

Training will be provided for advanced QC and stereotactic biopsy techniques, with opportunities to work on 3D Mammography units. This full-time position offers working across Banner Imaging sites, with day shift hours and the chance to join a patient-focused imaging team

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Advanced certification in Mammography required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed procedures following orders and policies.
• Educates patients about procedures and treatment to be performed.
• Produces high quality images and documents results.
• Performs QC and troubleshoots to maintain equipment performance.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and a safe environment.
• Manage patient schedules and workflows with radiology team.
• Work closely with Radiologist and other Technologists.
• Operate Hologic 3D Mammogram units.
