RadNet in Florida seeks a Mammography Technologist to operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality images, and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations.

Candidates must have ARRT certification, a State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS. One year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with strong communication and compassionate patient interaction emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment following policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner with excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, KvP, Mas, grid selection, AEC, and other parameters to obtain quality images.
• Monitor patients’ wellbeing during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Protect patient financial information and on-site data.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
