MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST PART TIME FLEX $38/HR TO $43/HR (24703)

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform and obtain high-quality mammograms on all patients, including in-patients, outpatients, and clinic patients, while utilizing radiation protection measures per departmental policies.
  2. Transport patients to and from mammography rooms as needed.
  3. Assist radiologists with needle localizations.
  4. Operate mammography equipment within the scope of your license and training.
  5. Provide patient care tailored to the age and development of patients.
  6. Maintain quality management standards as required by FDA and MQSA.
  7. Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism, respect, patience, and helpfulness.
  8. Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
  9. Develop and update policies and procedures as needed.
  10. Develop all necessary X-ray images when required.
  11. Ensure patient comfort and perform clerical duties to maintain records.
  12. Maintain a clean environment for equipment and workspaces.
  13. Report equipment issues for repair.
  14. Complete continuing education requirements per regulations and hospital standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT or Registry eligible.
  • Current NJ license as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
  • Mammography registry certification.
  • American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED certification.
Additional Information

Experience is not required. Must have good interpersonal skills and proficiency in English. Physical demands include lifting, positioning, and prolonged standing. Protective clothing is worn during procedures.
