Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality digital mammograms at Mill Creek and Everett locations. You will follow established imaging protocols tailored to each patient’s needs and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort during exams.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT Mammography certification with board status (or eligibility), a WA state license or active application, and a commitment to radiation safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by ARRT.
• Current ARRT certification and mammography board certification or eligibility (must obtain within one year).
• Active WA state license or pending application.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality digital mammograms.
• Follow protocols based on patient needs and exam requirements.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam.
• Use radiation safety measures to comply with government regulations and protect patients and staff.

Location and Schedule:

Mill Creek-15418 Main St #200, Thursday-Friday 7am-4pm

Everett Clinic 3901 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201, Wednesday, 9am-6pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms
• Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam
• Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff
• Evaluates images for technical quality
• Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire)
• Active WA state license or pending application

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $40 - $60 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
