Job summary

OptumCare in Mill Creek and Everett seeks a radiologic technologist specializing in digital mammography to perform high-quality mammograms and ensure patient safety. You will follow ARRT protocols, explain procedures, and maintain equipment in a busy clinic setting.

The role requires ARRT certification (Mammography) and a WA license with eligibility if not yet issued. The position offers comprehensive benefits, equity stock purchase options, and a 401k plan, with hourly pay between $40 and $60

Location and Schedule

Mill Creek-15418 Main St #200, Thursday-Friday 7am-4pm

Everett Clinic 3901 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201, Wednesday, 9am-6pm

Primary Responsibilities

• Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms
• Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam
• Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff
• Evaluates images for technical quality
• Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire)
• Active WA state license or pending application
