Job summary

Unified Mammography Services in Doylestown, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technologist to join our in-office imaging team. You will perform 3D digital mammography and ensure high-quality exams under MQSA guidelines, with the ability to work independently.

The position is 2–3 days a week at 708 N Shady Retreat Rd, Unit 7, Doylestown, PA 18901. Applicants should have ARRT registrations, mammography certification, and strong English skills; prior mammography experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or accredited Radiologic Sciences program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) Certification Required.
• State Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years mammography experience preferred.
• Strong English communication for duties.
• Ability to read/write in English for docs and compliance.

Responsibilities

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Doylestown, PA.

The Mammography Technologists will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of mammography. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills. Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.

Schedule: 2-3 days a week and coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Responsible for applying analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions:

• All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.
