Job summary

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Doylestown, PA. The Technologist will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registrations and state license where applicable, with a minimum of two years in mammography and strong English communication skills to interact with radiologists and patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or radiologic sciences program completion required.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required.
• State Radiation Control license if applicable.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D digital mammography to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure mammography equipment functions and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Complete patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate delays.
• Support MQSA and ACR requirements and continuing education.
• All other duties as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager or Director of Imaging Operations.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Doylestown, PA.

The Mammography Technologists will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of mammography. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills. Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.

Location:

708 N Shady Retreat RD, Unit 7,

Doylestown, PA 18901

Schedule: 2-3 days a week and coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.


• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.


• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.


• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.


• Responsible for applying analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.


• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.


• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.


• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.


• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.


• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.


• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions:

• All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.
