Job Overview

The Mammography Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures under the supervision of the Lead Mammography Technologist, providing diagnostic images/information to Radiologists.
  2. Conduct mammography and breast ultrasounds.
Position Details

This is a full-time position, 80 hours per pay period, day shift, with some evening coverage until 6:30 p.m., and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications
Required
  • IDNS licensed and ARRT registered in radiography.
  • Current AHA BLS Provider Certification.
  • Clinical and technical competency in mammography to meet MQSA requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ARRT registration in radiography mammography within 12 months of hire.
  • Hospital-based - Two-year training technology or Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology.
  • 40 hours of advanced training in an MQSA-approved program with 250 supervised exams.
