Mammography Technologist

Our client has been serving their community for over one hundred years and is one of the largest major public health systems. We are looking for a qualified Mammography Technologist who want to make a difference in their community.

The Position: Our client is looking for a Mammography Technologist and offers the following benefits:

  • Salary: $33.60/hr. - $50.40/hr. (Based on Experience)
  • Additional Shift Differential: $5.50/hr.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Relevant Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
  • Require Basic Working Knowledge of Commonly Used Computer Applications
  • Currently Licensed in the State of Florida as a Radiology Technician
  • Monday – Friday 7am to 3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic radiology imaging including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy and emergency procedures
  • Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety
  • Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images
  • Participating in performance improvement initiatives
  • Participate in staff/student orientation and training
  • Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction
  • May transport non-narcotic medications as directed
  • Required to participate in ''on call'' rotation as determined per specific department needs
