Job summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking an experienced mammographer to join our Michigan office. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, work independently, and contribute to patient-centric care in a non-weekend, Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires ARRT certification, up-to-date CME credits, and state licensure as applicable. You will ensure high-quality imaging, QA, and patient confidentiality while collaborating with the OB/GYN team.

Qualifications

• Mammography experience: 2 years required.
• Must hold CME credits up to date.
• Must have a valid state license if applicable.
• Must be patient-centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice.
• Assist in ensuring all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms, especially during the first 18 months of a new practice.
• Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
• Explains procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves mammographic equipment to positions and sets exposure factors according to radiographic protocols.
• Practices radiation protection techniques and shielding.
• Follows safety standards in operating equipment.
• Examines digital images for image quality.
• Ensures equipment is in proper working order and performs QA testing per MQSA/ACR/state requirements.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Processes routine paperwork and data entry.
• Participates in professional development and maintains affiliations.
• Prepares reports and data per MQSA and state requirements.
