Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join the Mammo OIC Unit in Eureka, CA. This full-time role involves 8-hour day shifts and performing radiographic imaging under MQSA, state, and Joint Commission standards.

Under the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse direction, you will produce and evaluate images for physician diagnosis, coordinate exams, and handle related clerical tasks. Eligible candidates must hold required certifications and BLS.

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Required Qualifications
