Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time, day-shift role. The technologist will perform mammographic imaging under the direction of a Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, ensuring MQSA, state, and Joint Commission standards are met.

Qualified candidates hold California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification and National Registered Technologist - Mammography, plus BLS.

Job description

Mammography Technologist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in Mammography.
• Experience with MQSA standards.
