Qualifications

• High school diploma required and graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Licensed in New York State in Diagnostic Radiology.
• ARRT Registration and Mammography Certification.
• BLS Certification or able to obtain within 3 months of employment.
• One year radiology experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic radiological procedures with limited supervision.
• Position patients and adjust imaging parameters for diagnoses.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding.
• Process and QA images and manage file/dictation workflow.
• Maintain records and department cleanliness.
• Assist in first aid and HIPPA compliance.
