Position Details

Salary: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

Location: West Valley City, UT

Type: PRN (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Assist with protocol optimization to enhance image quality.
• Prepare patients for exams, including pre-screening and gowning.
• Use proper techniques and positioning for safe, timely, and high-quality diagnostic exams.
• Obtain consents, document within EMR, and handle coding and billing.
• Maintain QC program per ACR standards.
• Perform safety practices, equipment cleaning, and sterile techniques.
• Assist in advanced mammography procedures and place/remove IVs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or licensed in Utah.
• 40 hours of mammography training and 25 supervised exams.
• 8 hours of training in mammographic modalities.
• Experience with breast ultrasound or willingness to learn.
• BLS certification.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motions related to computer and equipment use.
• Climate-controlled indoor environment.

Benefits & Additional Info

Sign-on Bonus: $500 ($250 upon hire and $250 after 6 months of employment).
