Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Radiologic Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic imaging procedures in outpatient clinics. You will prepare patients, capture diagnostic images, relay radiologist instructions, and document data in the medical record.

You may troubleshoot and maintain equipment and work at other sites in the Greater Sacramento Area. This role requires CA CRT & Mammography licenses, AMA Radiologic Technology training, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Formal AMA Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• 40 hours of structured Mammography education
• CA CRT & Mammography license (licensure verifiable)
• AHA BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
• Knowledge of anatomy/physiology for imaging and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay radiologist instructions
• Capture usable diagnostic images for accurate diagnosis
• Document patient concerns and care in the medical record
• Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain radiology equipment
• May be required to work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area
