Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years Mammography experience preferred.
  • CPR certification and ARRT required.

Job description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Mammography Technologist III
  • Hourly Pay Range: $37.47 - $58.08. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Location: Arlington Heights, IL
  • Full Time - 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Required Travel: No

What you will need:

  • Education: High School degree or equivalent
  • Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT required.
  • Licenses: IEMA
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years Mammography experience preferred; 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and computer skills. Proficiency with word processing; typing 25-35 wpm.

What you will do:

  • Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.
  • Perform a variety of technical and clerical duties requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
  • Maintain monthly budget constraints and perform yearly budgetary projections.
  • Perform quality control on equipment according to ACR standards.
  • Maintain supplies needed throughout the department.
  • Schedule staff and maintain schedule updates.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality care and adhere to ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
  • Explain procedures tactfully when additional imaging is needed.
