Job summary

Requirements include ARRT Radiography Certification and state licensure, plus mammography certification or eligibility within six months. BCLS is required; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography imaging with proper positioning and compression.
• Ensures safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
• Maintains equipment function and performs routine quality control as applicable.
• Reviews orders and patient history to ensure correct procedures.
• Educates patients on breast health and procedure expectations.
• Assists radiologists with mammography-guided procedures.
• Prepares patients for invasive procedures and provides post-procedure guidance.
• Maintains accurate documentation and image storage per regulations.
• Manages supplies and inventory for daily operations.
