Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
Work location primarily will be Froedtert Hospital but position will float to Clinic Sites such as Drexel, Moorland Reserve Health Center, and Calhoun Health Center.
This job is ON - SITE.
FTE: 0.80
Shift: Shift 1
Varied schedule Monday thru Friday with various start times between 730a and 830a.
Saturday rotation. No holidays.
Job Summary:
Performs mammographic exams. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients. Perform other duties as assigned / requested.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Minimum of 1 year experience in performing mammography is preferred. Screening and Diagnostic mammography experience preferred.
Willing to train a qualified candidate.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology is required. 1-2 years of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a radiologic technology or clinically related field is preferred.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
40 hours of training specific to mammography is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
ARRT registered IN Radiologic Technology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is required within 12 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
