Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in performing mammography is preferred.
  • ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology (RTR) required.
  • Advanced certification in ARRT-M within 12 months of hire.

Location: US:WI:MEQUON at our CP-MEQUON HEALTH CENTER facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 0.60 (24hrs)

Shift: Shift 1

Shifts will vary from 7 am-5 pm with occasional 10:00-6:30 shifts.

Position will float between Mequon Health Center, West Bend Hospital, Town Hall and Menomonee Falls Hospital

Job Summary:

Performs mammographic exams. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients. Perform other duties as assigned / requested.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of 1 year experience in performing mammography is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology is required.
1-2 years of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a radiologic technology or clinically related field is preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

40 hours of training specific to mammography is required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered IN Radiologic Technology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.

Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is required within 12 months of hire.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
