The position emphasizes accurate breast positioning, image interpretation, and compliance with federal regulations governing mammography, MQSA/ACR guidelines, and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None.
• Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): None.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits knowledge of radiation protection for patient, self and others.
• Perform digital mammography QC or be trained in house within 6 months.
• Support mission, rules, regulations, policies and procedures of Lexington Medical Center.
• Attend pertinent staff development programs and mandatory trainings.
• Maintain MQSA and ACR continuing education requirements.
• Arrive on time and adhere to schedule; be flexible when needed.
• Care for patients across age groups from child to geriatric.
• Maintain high service levels and contribute to Press Ganey scores.
