General Summary: This position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic mammography and radiographic exams in accordance with radiological procedures in accordance with Gonzaba Medical Group organization and legal standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
General Requirements: All duties performed will be done accurately and in a timely manner.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Work Environment: Clinic environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Mental / Physical Requirements: Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Education and Training: Minimum high school education or equivalent. Requires completion of a formal radiologic technology training program in an A.M.A. approved school and is certified in Diagnostic Mammography. Must have an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification. Must have a current Department of Health license. Must meet TDH mammography qualifications. Must be CPR and AED certified. Must keep all licenses and certifications current and in good standing as initial and continued employment is contingent up these credentials.
Experience: A minimum of one-year experience preferred in radiology.
Other Requirements: Computer Skills: Knowledge of word-processing software, spreadsheet software; Internet software and database software. RIS/PAC program knowledge is preferred.
